CFX
In Spring 2023, I took a Character FX class where we learned how to use both xGen and nCloth in Maya. I had a lot of fun working with the cloth simulator and would like to return to it someday. xGen was challenging but a welcomed experience nevertheless.
For my final project I had to create an accurately moving ballet skirt to match the animation of this ballet girl. It was a tough balance to keep the skirt’s physics realistic whilst also working in tandem of the girl’s movement.

This was a museum scene where we were tasked with created accurate cloth drapes to cover the contents of the museum. I had to make sure the poly count on the cloth mesh would be high enough to fold properly over everything.

I was tasked with making my own recreation of trolls doll hair to resemble the character Poppy from the Trolls Movie. Working in xGen proved to be quite the challenge for me but was a great learning experience.
